CONTROL NOTIFICATIONSwhat may interrupt

Choose which apps and people may interrupt you, then keep badges only where an unresolved count still means something.

Notifications and badges create two different claims on attention. An alert takes over the present moment. A badge leaves a visible reminder that something remains unresolved.

Handle them as separate decisions. Turn app alerts off by default, then restore only the people, channels, and events that genuinely require a timely response. Keep badges where the count points to something you can and intend to resolve.
